Sports Information Services (SIS) has launched its Competitive Gaming esports products with Codere, bringing eSoccer and eBasketball events to retail and online channels in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and Spain. The partnership aims to expand Codere’s betting options, featuring over 150,000 events annually with ultra-low latency live streaming.
Sports Information Services (SIS) launches its Competitive Gaming esports products for its partner Codere to be offered in physical and online shops in Argentina, Columbia, Mexico, Panama, and Spain.
All new in this category are eSoccer and eBasketball, which come from the H2H Global Gaming League. These are lines that are characterized by almost constant activities since there are over 150,000 events to look forward to in a year.
All the events are created in SIS’s UK studios and are designed for sportsbooks exclusively, offering sub-second latency live streaming and integrity referees who completed the training with the Esports Integrity Commission. It is the release that should diversify the betting points of Codere in these important markets.
Angel Calderon, the Head of Sales for Iberia, the UK, and Europe at SIS, said the platforms are already eager to start interplay with Codere: We are thrilled to offer Codere our 24/7 eSoccer and eBasketball offering. He also underlined that the expansion of this addition is expected to help increase the variety of customer options and bring about a considerable increase in the company’s sales.
Speaking at the 2021 Sports Betting East Africa virtual conference, Sergio Garcia, the Sportsbook Operations Manager at Codere, said that Codere’s long-term goal is to consolidate its position in the market, and to achieve this, the company wants to launch a wide range of offerings.
However, he pointed out that the new integration with SIS is in this line as SIS has a good reputation for offering great and quality betting products that have wide appeal to variable clients who place their bets through retail outlets and online.
This comes after SIS recently extended its existing partnership with Bet365, whereby SIS incorporated its eSoccer products to complement its basketball portfolio in regulated regions. To enhance its esports division, SIS has been consistently expanding its ESP partnership with services such as Betbazar and Bitville Gaming.
Also, in August 2024, Codere partnered with gaming supplier Beter to create eFootball and eBasketball content for ESportsBattle tournaments.
