Pragmatic Play has successfully launched its sportsbook in the UK through Dazn Bet, building on previous entries in Spain and Germany. This partnership introduces features like player props and bet builders, reinforcing Pragmatic Play’s ambition in a competitive market while enhancing Dazn Bet’s offerings for UK customers.
Pragmatic Play’s new sportsbook was recently launched in the United Kingdom, and Dazn Bet will be the company’s partner in this expansion. Thus, the application continues to cooperate with them, which, in the past year, has been successfully introduced in Spain and Germany with the help of Dazn Bet.
The new integration enables Dazn Bet UK to incorporate Pragmatic Solutions’ player account management (PAM) platform to provide users with an optimized betting experience. Customers can now access an assortment of products, such as player props, bet builders, and both pre-match and in-play information. The launch also creates a new horseracing product while expanding the existing sportsbook’s product portfolio.
In light of this, Gareth Crook, Senior Vice President of Sports at Pragmatic Play, said the company was proud to achieve this goal, especially since it initially set its sights on the UK market with a solid sportsbook. He also highlighted that the UK is one of the most competitive and mature sports betting markets, and the two firms must continue their partnership with Dazn Bet. Crook also said the first signs from the UK, where the product was launched recently, look encouraging.
The Managing Director for Germany, Austria, the UK, and New Markets of Dazn Bet, Daniel Berthold, said the official unveiling of the company’s latest sportsbook in the UK was a historic milestone.
He noted that this launch remains in line with what Dazn Bet aimed to provide UK customers with: a unique and exciting sports betting experience that was developed and perfected in Spain and Germany. Berthold pointed out that this development enables Dazn Bet to launch its specific brand in the UK, which will be useful for the company’s advancement in a somewhat saturated environment.
Besides this launch, Pragmatic Play has recently widened its portfolio geographically. In July, the company’s new live casino products were launched in the Dutch market via the OneCasino brand. Betxico partnered with Pragmatic Play in August this year to deploy the games in slot games, live casinos, and virtual sports on their platform. More recently, the firm got into a partnership with Sazka in the Czech Republic, where its slot game portfolio was offered to the operator.
