Join over 1,000 industry leaders at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace as SBC Summit Tbilisi, in collaboration with SMH, delves into the opportunities and challenges of key market dynamics in the region.
The “Market Digest” conference track at SBC Summit Tbilisi will focus on the opportunities and challenges that shape the key market dynamics in the region.
The event will take place on October 24 at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace*. It is being put together by SBC and SMH, a Georgian company that manages iGaming and sports. More than 1,000 people are expected to attend.
In addition to two conference stages with talks from more than 40 experts in the field, SBC Summit Tbilisi will have an exhibition area with more than 20 local and regional brands.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC, talked about how important Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Black Sea are in industry discussions. He focused on Georgia as the host country to show how important these areas are. This popularity is due to the fact that the laws in these markets are changing, making them more appealing to internet gambling companies from both inside and outside of these countries. Sojmark emphasized how important the “Market Digest” conference track is because it gives in-depth looks into the complicated nature of these key markets and helps professionals in the field understand how they work.
“Eastern Europe and Central Asia: How the Region is Evolving” is the title of a panel that will talk about all the big opportunities in different parts of the region, like Georgia, Romania, and Central Asia.
Galymzhan Duambekov (President, SRO of Betting and Lotteries Kazakhstan), Viktoriya Zakrevskaya (Deputy Chairman, UGC), Marcin Jablonski (former CCO, LV Bet), and Giorgi Gvenetadze (CCO, Adjarabet), who will moderate the panel, will talk about the challenges and chances in the region.
The “Georgia: Eastern European Hub of Leading iGaming Organizations” panel will talk about a country that has made itself a hub for both operators and providers of iGaming.
Giorgi Tsamalaidze (CLO, Random Systems Georgia), Quirino Mancini (President, IMGL), and moderator George Isakadze (Editor in Chief, Forbes Georgia) will talk about what the future holds for Georgia in an industry that is always changing. Georgia is known for having a unique mix of industry knowledge, multicultural understanding, effective regulations, and a skilled workforce.
The panelists, Shota Arveladze (Founder, AAA Foundation), Gianluca Varano (Digital Business Director, La Gazzetta dello Sport), and Yevhen Levchenko (President, Dutch Trade Union for Professional Footballers), will talk about the topic “Development of Sports and Strategic Collaboration: Effect on Business.” Lasha Machavariani (Founder & CEO, SMH) will be the moderator.
Based on their varied backgrounds, such as playing professional football, writing about sports, and being in charge of a trade union for football players, the panelists will talk about how the sports and betting industries work together and the effects that happen when they do.
The conference will also have a lot of different panels talking about interesting topics like responsible gaming and player protection in the digital age. Dan Iliovici, Vice President of Rombet, and George Mamulaishvili, Head of Administration at the Georgian Gambling Association, are two well-known experts who will share their knowledge at these sessions.
Additionally, the panelists will talk about flexible payment solutions and explain why they are becoming so popular in the gaming industry. This will give attendees useful information about how payments are changing in this sector.
