Betr launches real money sportsbook in Virginia, marking its third US state launch. App is available for iPhone and Android users on iOS and Google Play Stores.
Virginia is the third US state where Betr, a well-known online sports betting company, has opened its real money sportsbook. The Betr Fantasy & Sportsbook app is now available for iPhone users through the iOS Store, and the Betr – Microbetting app is now available for Android users through the Google Play Store.
As the company prepares to launch its improved ‘V1’ sportsbook in both new and existing states in 2024, this launch in Virginia marks the end of Betr’s ‘V0’ product phase. This tactical move comes after Betr purchased the Chameleon sportsbook platform from FansUnite, which is anticipated to strengthen and speed up its product development efforts.
Chameleon will serve as the framework for Betr’s V1 product, which is expected to include significant enhancements like same-game parlays, futures, and props, as well as an expanded selection of over 20 sports outside of baseball and American football.
In Ohio, Massachusetts, and Virginia, Betr will continue to run its V0 sportsbook until the launch of the upgraded “V1” product. In addition, Betr provides Betr Picks, its real money fantasy sports product, in 24 additional states, including Florida, Texas, and California.
The founder and CEO of Betr, Joey Levy, expressed excitement about the growth, especially as it comes just in time for the NFL season, and emphasized the firm’s dedication to responsible gaming in Virginia and other places. With this Virginia launch, Betr will now be accessible in 27 different countries.
