FanDuel, one of the two leading sports betting and gaming companies in the United States, has strengthened its executive team by adding government experts with deep knowledge and experience.
The company announced this week that it has hired Louis Trombetta and James Hartmann.
When joining FanDuel, they were promoted to be Directors of Government Relations, thereby significantly enhancing the crucial team that plays a vital role in establishing and sustaining successful collaborations with lawmakers across various states.
Both of the executives possess deep knowledge, have many years of experience, and special expertise that will be very important for the future development of FanDuel across the country.
The two leaders have experience spanning several decades.
In short, Trombetta has more than ten years in the gaming industry.
Apart from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, he is also a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Brockport.
Apart from that, Trombetta serves as an ex-board member of the Association of Racing Commissioners International and is currently a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
Being a seasoned executive, he comes with loads of industry experience along with a unique combination of legal acumen. These surely would form the backbone of FanDuel’s future success.
Before joining the powerful gaming firm, Trombetta served as an Executive Director at the Florida Gaming Control Commission, the state’s gaming regulatory agency.

Equally important is the name of Hartmann, an executive with a degree in political science from the University of Kentucky along with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame.
His professional journey commenced as a prosecutor in both New York City and Chicago.
In transitioning to the political arena, Hartmann held several key positions in the Illinois House of Representatives, including that of the Illinois Speaker of the House and Chief Counsel.
This career enabled him to amass considerable knowledge in the legislative domain.
