BetMGM readies for Kentucky sports betting with pre-registration and market access secured via Revolutionary Racing, ahead of the late September launch.
The Bluegrass State now offers pre-registration for sports betting on BetMGM to its residents.
With the launch of legalized sports betting in Kentucky in late September, BetMGM will be able to bring its retail and online sports platforms to the state thanks to a new market access agreement with Revolutionary Racing Kentucky.
On September 7 of this year, retail sports betting will become legal in the state. On September 28, mobile sports wagering will also become legal.
Kentucky residents can now pre-register for BetMGM.
As part of its launch promotion, BetMGM will provide you $100 in bonus bets after you complete the account registration and verification process.
On the first day of its sportsbook operations of BetMGM, bonus bets may be used. The pre-registration promotion will only be offered for a brief period of time.
In addition, Sandy’s Racing & Gaming will get a retail BetMGM Sportsbook thanks to Revolutionary Racing Kentucky. This fall, the 5,200 sq ft retail space is scheduled to open.
Additionally, Churchill Downs Interactive will launch six new brick-and-mortar sportsbooks in September across Kentucky after getting a temporary license from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC).
Derby City Gaming & Hotel, Churchill Downs Racetrack, Oak Grove Racing, Newport Racing & Gaming, Gaming & Hotel, Ellis Park Racing & Gaming and Turfway Park Racing & Gaming will all host the opening of CDI’s newest retail sportsbook locations.
The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC) has granted temporary sports wagering licenses to eight mobile operators and nine racetracks in preparation for their September retail and mobile launches.
