Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) expands its presence in Latin America with the launch of its iGaming platform in Mexico, marking its first venture into the region. Partnering with LuckyDays, GiG will provide its CoreX platform and advanced AI tools, DataX and LogicX, to enhance player acquisition and retention. Building on prior success in Ontario, Sweden, and other regulated markets, the partnership aims to commence operations in January 2025, pending regulatory approval. With Mexico’s internet gaming revenue projected to reach $3.7 billion by 2028, this collaboration positions GiG and LuckyDays for significant growth. This follows GiG’s recent expansions in Asia and Europe, solidifying its footprint in high-growth markets worldwide.
Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) continued its expansion in Latin America when it launched its iGaming platform in Mexico along with its long-standing partner, LuckyDays.
This is GiG’s first foray into the region and it continues its pursuit of high-growth, regulated markets.
The move grants LuckyDays access to GiG’s CoreX platform and its AI tools, DataX and LogicX, to develop operations in terms of player acquisition and retention.
This launch will be an expansion of their earlier success in Ontario, Sweden, and other regulated markets. The companies would expect to commence regulated operations in Mexico during January 2025 pending the final nod from the government.
According to Richard Carter, Chief Executive Officer at GiG, this agreement is a combination of a high-growth market and their established, successful partnership with LuckyDays. Together, the companies have the ideal elements to improve operations through cutting-edge, next-generation technology and extensive experience in working through evolving regulatory environments.
This is expected to be positive to the venture since Mexico’s internet gaming sector is estimated by H2 Gambling Capital to grow to a gross gaming revenue of $3.7 billion by the year 2028. This industry is controlled by the Mexico General Directorate of Games and Raffles.
A LuckyDays spokesperson told the media that GiG’s proven solutions empower them to launch and scale effectively into this new market, upholding their vision for the future of growth and excellent customer experience. They look toward a successful expansion in Mexico and beyond, bringing world-class offerings to an increasingly wider audience with GiG as a trusted partner.
This comes after the entry of GiG into the Asian market, an entry achieved by a collaboration with Bloomberry Resorts in the Philippines. Moreover, GiG has strengthened its European operations with new deals sealed in the United Kingdom and Denmark earlier in the year.
