Hard Rock AC Debuts Unrivaled High-Limit Slot Zone

The new high-limit slot area at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has been revealed. The resort now boasts the most significant number of high-limit machines in Atlantic City, with 258 after adding 72 new slots.

The new area includes four semi-private gaming rooms with two slot machines, LED TVs, and wireless chargers.

Hard Rock Atlantic City president George Goldhoff emphasized the casino’s commitment to providing excellent service and highlighted the opening of their new high-limit area to improve visitor experiences.

Meanwhile, work is underway in California on the $600 million Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon, with a groundbreaking date planned for December. A sizable gaming floor, an 11-story hotel with 400 rooms, convention space, an event center, and a restaurant are all planned for the location. The Bureau of Indian Affairs of the Department of Interior allowed 320 acres to be placed into Federal Trust in 2022, opening the door for a Class III gaming compact involving the state, the Tejon Tribe, and their partner Hard Rock International.

Atlantic City Casinos Weather Q3 Dip; Hard Rock, Ocean Resort Lead

In Q32023, the nine casinos in Atlantic City and the two operators of online gaming brought in $281.2 million in gross operating profit. As per the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, that represents a 7.5% decline from Q3 2022.

The East Coast’s casinos saw a decline in profit year over year, but they were still profitable in Q3 2019 before the pandemic. The two newest casinos, Hard Rock and Ocean Casino Resort, generated most of this revenue. With a $44.3 million gross operating profit, Hard Rock saw a decrease of less than 1% from the previous year. With $43 million in revenue, Ocean Casino Resort reported a more than 10% growth.
