HungryBear Gaming introduces a special sports betting version of its renowned Slot Masters game exclusively for Ladbrokes, enhancing its iGaming portfolio.
HungryBear Gaming, a UK-based game development company is releasing a specially adapted version of its popular Slot Masters game for Ladbrokes Coral, a British gambling company. HungryBear specializes in developing HTML5-based casino games.
Ladbrokes Coral had announced in August that it will offer free tickets for music festivals and comedy shows through Ladbrokes LIVE to British fans.
The studio, which drew inspiration from classic video games like Minecraft and Fortnite, gave the custom multiplayer game known as “Clash of the Day” a sports betting perspective.
The new game utilizes the same free-to-play tournament mechanics that made the company’s “colossal player base of over one million” fall in love with the Slot Masters, the original multiplayer slot sensation.
Clash of the Day, which has been specifically designed to draw soccer fans from the UK, will let customers of Entain compete against other players for a variety of prizes, including free best and free spins.
During promotional periods, users can choose a suitable Premier League team or rely on the operator’s Fanzone FC and begin accumulating enough points to move up the leaderboard.
The new type of sportsbook for the game differs from the original in that players are permitted to use a variety of strategies to outwit their rivals. The list includes the VAR option, which allows players to temporarily freeze their opponents’ reels, and the Tackle strategy, which allows players to take away half of their opponents’ balance.
Other choices include Wall, a strategy that aids players in defending against all attacks launched by other players for a set period of time, and Red Card, where players can take all of their opponents’ funds.
Chief Executive Officer of HungryBear Gaming, Justin Chamberlain, said that the release of Clash of the Day on Ladbrokes and Entain was important for the company and shows the ability of the game’s model.
The CEO was proud of taking their relationship with Ladbrokes to a new level. The operator was one of the first to support the basic idea behind the multiplayer game and is a market leader in retail bookmaking in a number of markets, including the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and Spain.
When the first Slot Masters game was released, it immediately became a favorite among players, drawing a whopping 38,000 players.
Blueprint Gaming’s IPs served as inspiration for HungryBear Gaming’s announcement in July that it would design and create Slot Masters experiences. A Slots Masters product would be created for Novibet, the studio announced last month.
