The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has warned about several unauthorized gaming websites falsely claiming MGA affiliation. The Authority urges consumers to verify online gaming platforms for legitimacy and compliance and directs users to a list of authorized entities on its official website for safe gaming experiences.
Recently, MGA released a public notice stating that it is not connected with several Online Gaming and Gambling Platforms. The statement, which seeks to protect consumers and integrity in the Malta gaming industry, lists five gambling websites that fake MGA licenses.
The website in question is www. rayvietnam. Net, www. rbvn08. Com, www. raybet03. Com, www. ray097. com, and www. ray40. com. The MGA noted that any of these sites claiming to hold a Maltese gaming license is false and misleading.
This warning is very important to consumers because it will force them to check and confirm the legitimacy of online gaming platforms before they transact with them. This is why the MGA focuses on informing its players about what platforms they should gamble with and which platforms are unregulated and thus can potentially pose a threat to end users.
To help consumers, the MGA suggests using its website to provide a full list of accredited companies, which are its licensees.
