Michael Rumbolz assumes the role of Chairman at the American Gaming Association, succeeding Jim Allen. With a diverse background, Rumbolz is set to propel the industry forward, addressing key priorities.
Michael Rumbolz has been appointed the new American Gaming Association (AGA) chairman, effective January 20, 24.
Jim Allen, the CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International, will be succeeded by Rumbolz. Allen was appointed in January 2022.
As AGA Chairman, Michael Rumbolz conveyed his appreciation for the chance to influence the direction of gaming. He emphasized the AGA’s dedication to tackling issues that have the potential to change the world, such as ending illicit gambling and promoting responsible gaming. Rumbolz is excited about consolidating the advancements made under Jim Allen’s leadership.
Before taking over as AGA Chairman, Rumbolz was Everi’s CEO and president. His broad experience in the gaming industry is demonstrated by his positions as Chief Deputy Attorney General of Nevada and Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Rumbolz was greeted by AGA President and CEO Bill Miller, who acknowledged him as a legend in the field with unmatched experience in manufacturing, regulation, and operation.
