The online slot machine Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey has officially been launched in Michigan. The game is only played in the MGM Grand Detroit and through the BetMGM website. BetMGM’s launch aims to combine the best of both worlds – online and the classic style of casino gaming.
Rakin’ Bacon is a classic slot manufactured by PlayAGS and released in 2018, while Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey is an improved version of the first. Cornsquealius in the game is present in an ancient Greek background. It has 3×5 reels and offers 7,776 ways to win, and it can change to 6×5 reels in the bonus feature. Detroit has four jackpots to offer: the MGM Grand Detroit and online.
Oliver Bartlett, the VP of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM, emphasized that Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey is one of the areas in which BetMGM can leverage the omnichannel strategy. He was upbeat about his company’s online exclusivity of the latest instalment of this popular game in Michigan, which has become one of the foremost iGaming states in the nation.
The current trend from BetMGM to encourage the intertwining of online and physical casinos is also evident with the recent unveiling of new gaming options.
