Playtech has expanded its partnership with bet365 to include the Pennsylvania market, building on their successful collaboration that began in New Jersey in 2020. This move follows a recent launch of a new product in Spain and aligns with bet365’s ongoing summer expansion initiatives in the US.
Playtech and bet365 extended a partnership in the US with entry into Pennsylvania after forming a partnership in New Jersey in 2020. That is the latest development that came after a major European move of the two conglomerates in Spain early this month.
Since Playtech started the partnership with bet365 in the United States three years ago, Playtech has been delivering its casino content through the bet365 brand in New Jersey. With this new chapter, the players in Pennsylvania will be able to access the portfolio of Playtech through bet365.
One representative from bet365 said in a statement about the venture, “It is great that we can increase our cooperation with Playtech in Pennsylvania. Due to our continued partnership, engagement with our players has remained very impressive and creative.” He added, “We expect to improve the range of products and achieve new successes in the American market.”
Also, it is important to mention that the bet365 company extended its cooperation with Inspired in Pennsylvania this summer as part of its American expansion plan for the summer months.
Playtech has ended Q3 actively, the latest being the announcement of the sale of Snaitech, the Italian sports betting and gaming company, to Flutter Entertainment in a deal worth €2.3 billion ($2.56 billion). This sale comes at the same time the company released its first-half financials, showing that its revenues had improved by 5% YoY to € 906.8m.
An interview with Kevin Kilminster, the Chief Product Innovation Officer at Playtech Live, for more information regarding the recent agreement that was made between Playtech and bet365. He showed interest in taking the partnership over to another US state while stating that the company’s focus is on the support that it provides to bet365 with enabling solutions pertinent to its strategic plans and the generation of fresh and captivating content for customers.
Both were highlighted by Kilminster as being the results of collaborated work pointing out their currently existing or under-development solutions, dedicated environments, and bespoke games for respective markets. He expressed optimism about further strengthening their successful partnership with bet365, which he described as a world-class operator.
