Playtech has launched its Live Casino portfolio with Veikkaus, Finland’s state-owned monopoly operator, marking its first foray into the Finnish market. Veikkaus selected Playtech as its inaugural live dealer casino partner after a rigorous public procurement process.
Playtech has released its Live Casino portfolio in Finland through a partnership with Veikkaus, the state-owned monopoly platform. This marks Playtech’s first entry into the Finnish market, aligning with the country’s forthcoming transition to a license-based iGaming model.
For Veikkaus, the distinct iGaming offering now comprises live casino from Playtech-a first for both supplier and operator. It has selected Playtech as the first live dealer casino partner in an open public procurement procedure, through which it will offer its full range of titles.
Playtech has been able to mark itself as a leader of quality and innovation in the industry of live casinos. Its diverse portfolio of high performing, innovative titles is supplemented with constant efforts to introduce new opportunities to enhance value to players.
The partnership brings some of the most well-known casino games such as Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Spin a Win, The Greatest Cards Show, Blackjack, and Roulette.
Playtech Commercial Director Fredrik Sylvander told the media that they are proud to announce the successful launch in cooperation with Veikkaus, marking an important milestone in their partnership. He expressed his inclination to support Veikkaus in delivering a great end customer experience with their studio technology and unique games.
Sylvander said that using their experience and market intelligence, they have built a proprietary live product that answers the specific needs of the Finnish market in delivering an unparalleled gaming experience to the customers of Veikkaus. He further said that he was pleased that they have been able to start this new chapter with Veikkaus. He is also looking forward to helping them actualize their vision in the Live casino space.
In addition to making its first move into Finland, Playtech has demonstrated a diligently devoted commitment to expanding its global reach. The company released a statement last September announcing it would pursue a close cooperation with Caliplay in Mexico.
At the same time, Playtech also increased its North America presence by partnering with Rush Street Interactive, in this instance, with the supplier competing head-to-head against Evolution, another leading live dealer game provider. Playtech has also recently divested itself of its B2C business unit, Snaitech, and confirmed in September that Flutter Entertainment would be acquiring the company.
