BetMGM has now expanded its gaming library as Relax Gaming has entered a deal to launch its RLX Gaming studio in the state of Pennsylvania.
Through this mutually beneficial partnership, casino games produced by the provider will be offered to the residents of the state, including well-known slot machines like The Great Pigsby, Epic Joker, Money Train 3, and more.
Formed by the end of 2020 and with the authorization of the Pennsylvania Gambling Commission Board, RLX Gaming is currently active in Pennsylvania, which is already considered a growth-oriented gaming market.
Launched first in New Jersey in December of the same year, RLX Gaming has been focused on providing other iGaming markets with unique content. Possible expansion to the next quarters includes West Virginia and Michigan.
RLX Gaming’s CEO Martin Stålros said on the news that he was eager for the brand to enter this northeastern state, pointing out that this is the second RLX Gaming’s partnership with BetMGM after New Jersey.
In this regard, Stålros was keen to ensure that the company had begun the journey to growth for the year 2024 in the U.S.
Smilovic Ronde of RLX Gaming as the Chief Regulatory Officer, praised that the PGCB authorized their apps within the shortest time as an indication of their capacity to operate in such stringent regulatory systems.
The Vice President of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM, Liver Bartlett, also echoed the excitement of the partnership, especially the opportunity to be part of Relax Gaming to introduce more of its games in the U.S.
Alexia Smilovic Ronde, Chief Regulatory Officer of RLX Gaming, also endorsed the progress, pointing out that the deal had been transformative in the company’s plans and objectives, which was part of its broader plans in the regulated market across North America.
In the case of the interaction with the PGCB on interim authorization, Ronde said the process had taken a few months at most, as a pointer to how RLX Gaming can navigate a difficult environment in which to introduce its products.
She had no qualms, saying it was a relief to know that the company was now ready to go live in Pennsylvania. On the same note, BetMGM, the company operating the casino app, also echoed the same sentiments towards the results fetched by the social casino app.
Liver Bartlett, who took up the portfolio of Vice President of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM, said it is a privilege to diversify the range of options on Relax Gaming and RLX Gaming.
