SkillOnNet has been granted a license by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism (MINCETUR), allowing it to offer casino games via PlayUZU.pe. This expansion into Peru follows the company’s recent ventures in Mexico, Buenos Aires, and Ontario, where it integrated new gaming content from 1X2 Network and IGT PlayDigital.
SkillOnNet has been awarded a license to operate in Peru by the Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism, also known as MINCETUR. Under this license, Peruvian players will be able to engage with SkillOnNet’s RCC, which consists of casino games, through PlayUZU. pe, which offers a program that has been translated into Spanish.
Although the Peruvian market has been functioning for a specific time now in internet betting, it has been without legal regulation for a long time. Peruvian lawmakers approved a bill to legalize and regulate gambling in August 2022, And the regulation act is effective from February 2024. New regulatory measures introduced 30 days to apply for a license. Within this timeframe SkillOnNet was able to fill and obtain the licence.
With this new approval, SkillOnNet is expected to bring further improvement to the game playing in Peru, which will be an additional overseas branch.
SkillOnNet started its operations in Mexico and Buenos Aires City, where online gambling was recently legalized. It is a company that offers different brands of games and operates in Portugal, Germany, the United Kingdom, and North America, and it is still growing.
Back in July 2024, the company expanded its casino games in ON by partnering with 1X2 Network, the UK-based company. This expansion enables players in Ontario to play various games produced by Iron Dog Studio, Prospect Gaming, and 1X2gaming, among others, via SkillOnNet’s local brands, including PlayOjo and SlotsMagic. Some of the famous titles, such as Arriba Heat, Mr. Porky Banker, and Prospector Wilds, were included in this deal with the help of the long-term cooperation with the 1X2 Network.
Earlier in June 2024, SkillOnNet integrated brands the firm owns in Ontario with IGT PlayDigital, making titles such as Cleopatra Legacy and Double Gold available. Also, in May year 2024, the company signed a global content agreement with Spinomenal where it included games like Queen of Ice and Baba Yaga Tales in its online casinos.
These strategic moves reflect SkillOnNet’s desire to diversify and enrich the range of games offered to the company’s clients and fans in multiple global markets.
